Whether or not this works for you with two external monitors attached probably depends on whether your computer accepts two monitors over a USB-C. With me with the new Huawei MateBook X Pro, I was able to duplicate two monitors, but not expand them. I ended up hooking up one monitor to HDMI via this USB-C and another to my real HDMI port to extend it to all three screens. I suspect it was a computer limitation.

I just received this product to try and get a stage display for my Asus X556U laptop am posting to download drivers or find something that could fix the problem. It's a real shame because it feels like a really solid product made from real metal body, even with a quality lanyard for it that I'm sure could take some abuse. I've tried this on 3 different computers with mixed results. My work computer: HP Elitebook 840 g3 - showed up as an unidentified USB device. MSI GS65 Stealth Thin - Immediately made a noise and restarted the computer. 2017 Mac Book Pro 13" - Works added 1 additional workspace. The other HDMI output was a duplicate of the first. I bought this gadget to make working from home on two screens a reality with my Lenovo Yoga X1. w2207 with 22" flat screen and 24" Samsung SyncMaster T24B350 TV/monitor. The only problem I've had with this adapter is that the signal to one of my two monitors sometimes, but not often, doesn't work when I first connect the device to my laptop. I bought this gadget to make dual screen work from home a reality with my Lenovo Yoga X1. Since I don't drive on a UHD screen at home, USB C is enough to run an old HP w2207 22" flat screen and a Samsung SyncMaster T24B350 24" TV/monitor. First, I connect the device to my laptop. The simple fix is to unplug the HDMI cable from the end of the adapter for the device that isn't working, plug it back in and whoops - it's back. I am pleased with the durability and ease of use of this small dual HDMI adapter. The Huawei Matebook X Pro that I just bought and love has two USB-C ports, one of which is Thunderbolt 3. The computer is picky about which Thunderbolt docks it works with for dual displays with HDMI. This little adapter works seamlessly on BOTH PORTS as it uses the DisplayPort Alternate Mode standard to do its job. Much more versatile than an adapter that would grab my lone Thunderbolt 3 port. Quality USB-C Hub. I got two similar splitters from the same company, this one was a dual HDMI splitter (the other one was HDMI/VGA) and they both worked right away.
