My wife got this waffle maker as a gift last Christmas (December 2020). We've used the waffle maker about a dozen times since then. She was very happy with the waffle maker and the way she made the waffles. However, the last time she used it over the weekend, the hinge broke (Photo 1). The waffle maker is now virtually useless unless it is physically holding the pans horizontally, as the pans tend to rotate out of level and the batter spills (Photo 2). She loves the way the waffle maker cooks waffles and is happy with it. up to this point. Too bad it didn't even last a year before it broke. If the manufacturer follows these reviews, it would be nice to hear from you.
