So 9 inch straws are usually sold in fast food restaurants and 10 inch straws are usually sold in the store with one of those big drinks. This is the perfect set if you're having a drink during lunch or on a trip. They have a smoother mouthfeel than stainless steel straws and definitely don't get as icy as they do. For reference, these straws will NOT fit the hole in my 40 ounce Ozark Trail insulated mug. I will buy another set because I like them so much.
