Review on 🔐 Kwikset Smart Code 955 Electronic Lever, Satin Nickel in 99550-002 model by Arun Siddiqui

I was looking for a similar kwikset unit for the lockable pantry door handle on the back of my townhouse. I have other Kwikset electronic locks on other doors where I have replaced the deadbolts to use the code. This handle block complements the locks on my front and back doors, each of which I can set the same or unique codes for. All can handle up to 30 unique codes, which is more than enough for my needs. A smart key system was a particular need so all my locks would work with the same key. It took about a week to install and works great. Installation was as easy as can be, the old handle lock was removed and it was fitted in about 5 minutes. The handle is reversible so it can be used on both left and right hand doors. Takes the 9V screw that is included. This is different from my other devices which run on 4AA batteries. You will hear the lock turn off when you enter the code and turn on again after about 10 seconds. When you close the door, it will be locked automatically. I left my pantry/barn door unlocked for convenience which wasn't secure. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore as it always locks automatically when I close it and I don't have to carry the key around with me.
