As expected they all got mixed up, probably because they fell off during transport and handling. I didn't care since I sorted them into my baskets anyway. I threw away a few that were straight, misfolded, or miscut. Note that they don't have a slight kink on the long end that makes insertion easier. I don't know how they are saved in the app or for reuse. I don't normally reuse cotter pins, although I've seen some good mechanics reuse them. They are zinc plated so they can be used for most applications except where stainless steel is required. I'll try a pair on a snow blower instead of stainless cleats. Hopefully they are up to the task as this cotter pin application is the most difficult.
