Does not protect van
Wiring harness contains only diodes to prevent light output from the van reaching the vehicle. It does not contain diodes to protect the vehicle from the power supply of the van. They could easily be switched on with little or no additional material cost. Also the routing path in the instructions seemed very sketchy for a CR-V. I didn't go that route and instead routed the cables through the cockpit and then through the firewall to the engine compartment.
