Problem B Stock gone

Perfect for my 2000 Tundra SR5 4.7 2X2 2 piece driveshaft. However, the part came in a Dana Spicer box marked "Made in Japan"; The 10 digit Toyota part number stamped on the actual carrier stock is not recognized as a valid Toyota OEM part and no one really seems to know. Two years ago I had to replace the entire driveshaft at an aftermarket company called Drive Shaft Shop. I called them to inquire about a medium support bearing, also known as a carrier bearing, that had run out in under 10,000 miles and was told it was out of warranty. All driveshafts, yokes and U-joints are stamped with Dana Spicer part numbers, meaning OEM. quality, but the carrier bearing is an inferior import from Taiwan; In a conversation with tech support, they stated that the OEM and aftermarket bearings are identical for this application, including their aftermarket driveshaft. The Dana Carrier bearing looked and felt premium, eliminating shot-to-hole vibration, vibration under load and terrible bearing noise. There is no vibration at all speeds and loads, and there is no bearing noise (hooray) at all! A few words of wisdom for those able to pull off this DIY repair. #1 Be sure to jack up the shaft when removing it, if you leave the shaft hanging in the gearbox at too great an angle, the gearbox seal will leak when reinstalled. #2 Clearly mark shafts, U-joints and yokes 100% so they will be reinstalled in the same position/location when reassembling. I used a silver marker with 2 different identification marks for reference because if you don't you will have to buy another refill due to excessive vibration, hope this helps.
