quality product. suitable for bearings and seals

Spicer quality product. In my search, it was difficult to find people who had relevant information for my app, so I'll try to add what I have. 2004 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L Extended Cab6 ledge, 4wd. Fits like a dream, OEM replacement without the expensive Toyota box.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Secret

OEM cheaper for center bearing

From what I can tell this company makes OEM bearings for Toyota. There was a Toyota part number on the stock and the box said Made in Japan. If that's the case then it's theft because the Toyota brand will cost you twice as much as this one.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Perfect fit and exact replacement for OEM

Completely satisfied with this purchase! Less than half the OEM Toyota price at any online OEM store. What's not to like about that. He even cast a "Toyota" in a rubber mount! Thanks to the Tacoma World Forum for reporting this bargain!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Requires socket

Fixed Transmission Vibration

This product solved a major transmission vibration problem that occurred when I let off the gas. When the gearbox was loaded, it worked smoothly. However, when I picked up speed and took my foot off the gas, it vibrated heavily. This new part solved the problem on a 1998 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 SR5 TRD.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Problem B Stock gone

Perfect for my 2000 Tundra SR5 4.7 2X2 2 piece driveshaft. However, the part came in a Dana Spicer box marked "Made in Japan"; The 10 digit Toyota part number stamped on the actual carrier stock is not recognized as a valid Toyota OEM part and no one really seems to know. Two years ago I had to replace the entire driveshaft at an aftermarket company called Drive Shaft Shop. I called them to inquire about a medium support bearing, also known as a carrier bearing, that had run out in under 10,000

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Almost never
