6 liters caught with a small rim, then conveniently poured back into an empty 5 liter jug without spilling a drop. The spout is placed in a pot without a funnel and is quickly poured. No fuss, no fuss. A little brake cleaner to remove residual oil and plug the spout with a small paper towel to soak up the residual oil so it doesn't spill out in storage. Good quality frying pan. I'm glad I bought it as it saves time and doesn't cause the hassle of recycling the oil to another container. As another reviewer mentioned, point the end of the spout in the direction you will be pulling the pan out from under the car. If you don't do this, the oil will spill back when you pull it out from under the car and the oil will flow out the spout and spill onto the floor.
