Review on CTA Tools 9725 4 Inch Socket by Danny Flores

Little Things in Life

I've been arguing for too long about which 1/4" socket holder to buy. Finally it was a fact. that the dimensions were printed right on the holder he sold me. I love it. No more picking up a socket and twisting your fingers to read those tiny numbers (especially the little ones on those little sockets) stamped into a reflective surface to make sure I got 10mm and not that stupid 9mm, that are wasted. The plastic feels tight on each of the quarter-inch retainer plugs. Each has a spring loaded ball, just like your ratchet. The connectors slide a bit on the rail to accommodate heads of different sizes. I had no problem fitting my old (before laser engraved easy to read page markers) set of US made Craftsman 1/4" sockets, but I had to order a Mac 15mm 1/4" as Craftsman only 1/4" " makes 4" sockets that go up to 14mm. I'll probably rarely use them, but I just couldn't see that empty space. In fact, if you push the clip a little bit, the retaining plugs slip off at the end. So I think you can remove the ones you don't use or mix sizes if you like enjoying the little things in life like Revain product reviews.
