The Tumaz yoga strap is so so incredibly fantastic! I don't even know where to start. An incomparable hidden gem that's so unique that I will NEVER stop being grateful that I found it and it's now a part of my everyday life! It's absolutely everything I could possibly need or even think to want from a yoga strap, and still SO MUCH MORE! My husband got it for me, the genius, but since I'm only 5'5", I should probably have the 6 ft length instead of the 8 ft, but it still works like a charm, just as it should ;) . (Although the extra length hasn't cause me any trouble yet so far, plus I can just fold it half if I REALLY need it to be shorter). It was most definitely designed AND created with the ACTUAL customer in mind which becomes so apparent when you learn all of its uses and functions, they definitely thought A LOT about how best it could be made to meet as many needs of as many people as possible. I'm just one person and use it every single day in every way possible, for example, yoga of course, AMAZING stretch sessions whether it be pre-workout, as a relaxation technique, a part of your daily routine simply because it FEELS Good and is GOOD FOR YOU. It also keeps your blood flowing and has been proven to aid in healthier, better circulation, you could be less likely to suffer any muscle injury(s) if they're kept typically warmed up, limber and stretched out, and the list could go on. Also obvious? The additional care and thoughtfulness put into making it the highest quality possible, which you can feel (quite literally) in the strap when you hold it and work with it. It feels truly outstanding which means EXACT, perfect amount of what I call "a straps stretch and slide" across and around my hands and my body, leading to far more balanced and NATURAL body movements when it's in your hands as well as increased fluidity and enhanced stretches, poses, and flexibility as it moves with you, with precision, right where you want and/or need it to go and it takes you along. The more often and longer you use it, the more it will become an extension of you and your movements, feels as natural as walking and eventually as breathing. Even when you've become stretch, yoga, and flexibility goddesses and gods, you'll still find yourself going for that strap. BUT! Definitely don't misunderstand my meaning. Because it's not so flawlessly smooth that it's texture is overly "silky" like some straps can be, so that your constantly loosing your grip or positions in poses, long or tight stretches, etc etc. Or even worse, it's most definitely NOTHING AT ALL like those rough and tough nylon straps of good ol' days (lol) which was almost exactly the same material of the first yoga strap I used my first time in 2004, back when you were bullied for doing yoga instead of praised. Crazy how quickly things can change, isn't it? Those old straps, after a hard go, could make your hands feel like you spent the day digging holes with a splintered shovel instead of taking an extended yoga class. So YES, definitely, this strap is TRULY one of the top 2 best straps I have ever used or worked with or laid my hands on, ever since my very first time on a yoga mat, with my first strap in my hands, exactly 15 years ago. Along with my wandering mind, that was wondering what the heck was wrong with me (nothing at all is the answer to that - at the time it was without a doubt, all societies fault) and not the slightest idea what I was even supposed to even be doing lol. I really wish I'd had this back then!. This yoga strap truly is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! SO. Whether your new to it or have been practicing for years, an actually GOOD, TRUE quality, and seriously STRONG yoga strap is something you'll always want to have with you if you've got yoga on your mind. You wouldn't practice without your mat right? Trust me when I say that you WILL, at some point, walk upon different yoga occasions, classes, teachers, friends, peers and most definitely some very intense yet personally challenging online classes and believe me when I say your really gonna want your strap then and wish you actually had it. And after my time spent with this strap so far, it's become an extension of me, when I need it, or even just want to use it. And it happened so easily and quite honestly, very quickly as well, the bond, how in sync we are. It's never slipped a foot, leg, nothing, sending me rolling to or across the floor. It didn't even moan or groan in complaint when it was my swing and then my upside down lumbar support, (which, actually, was only one of the times the extra length has come in handy now that I think about it). A few extras benefits I forgot to mention in more detail that were also added to the TUMAZ yoga strap, (with obvious care in mind), are that it's made from polyester cotton, so it has a great grip but also still the perfect softness, not to mention a decent stretch to the entire strap, which only adds to the many benefits and features of it. Like how it can be used not just for yoga but is also great for pilates as well. I've yet to try that, so won't speak to it. And it's incredible for good, full body stretches like I mentioned above. One of my favorite times to stretch is alone before I meditate, I feel so much more calm and relaxed when I've finished a great, full body stretch and my muscles are super relaxed, and any stress or tension fades almost entirely (and before I've even meditated!) and as a result I get so much more out of my personal meditations. On each end of the strap it also has a 4 mm, each WELDED together, D-ring buckle. The D-rings on most yoga straps break easily so the safety of these was quite literally "put to the test" to try them out. A REAL "maximum load" test! And naturally, both rings can together and simultaneously, hold over 2,300 pounds. Although I'm not quite sure of the point of that. Just even more evidence of the time they took to truly see to EVERY ASPECT of the quality of their straps, if I had to guess :). For anyone still "thinking about it". And if all of that isn't enough to convince you, they can also be used in physical therapy exercises and treatments where they actually proved to be impressively helpful. We haven't been together too awful long yet, my new strap and I that is, but I already know I will be keeping a TUMAZ YOGA STRAP (or more likely two) in my life, forever! So, HANDS DOWN, LADIES AND GENTS! IT IS FAR AND AWAY A WINNER! :) SO. If your shopping for a yoga strap or just want a new one or a back up. I 100%, ABSOLUTELY Recommend THIS ONE! AND IF I WAS ON THE FENCE, WHICH STATISTICALLY, A LOT OF YOU ARE, I'D BUY ONE OF THESE AND ASAP! Cause y'all. There just ain't a chance in yoga that this purchase COULD EVER or WOULD EVER be a purchase that you'd be capable of regretting.
