Works but I would try something else first

I have used several different carpet pads, from a heavy duty carpet pad in the living room to this inexpensive one I bought for our hallway. Runner. Considering there is a lot of foot traffic I would love to get a better one. This pillow is probably good in other dimensions, but a hallway-sized pillow just isn't hefty enough to get the job done in high-traffic areas.
