7 year old grandson uses it properly
I use it for the gas starter in my fireplace. It works great and the feature that lets you bend the nozzle is great. You place the logs in the rack and the long, curved nozzle allows you to fire the jets of gas safely. As I said in the title, my grandson loves being a chimneyman. With this lighter he can safely fire gas nozzles. I still have to open the chimney, but then I can watch my grandson do the rest. It is also very easy to refill butane.
