comfortable, true to size, smooth ride

I really like these skates for many reasons. I only have one small complaint which I easily eliminated myself. They sit perfectly on the foot. They lace up nice and tight and the laces are long enough to wrap around the ankles and back in the front. Mine is just above the ankle. The maximum time I've worn them is 1 1/2 hours at which point they were still comfortable. I like that they are faux leather and not dead animals. I have some trouble laying the tongue flat and have to fiddle with it, but that might be because I'm too impatient to loosen the laces as much as I probably should. If I don't line it up, it's a bit awkward. They roll very smoothly with no judder, which is probably due to the bearings, but I'm no bearing expert. Turning is easy, even gliding turns. They also come with a set of small tools for adjustments on the go, which is a nice touch. The stopper is large and effective. I tried them indoors for the first time on a tiled floor and when the rubber touches the tile you quickly stop! I've used them indoors and outdoors and they work equally well in both places. Indoors on tiles, outdoors on cement and paving stones. My only complaint is that the very first time I put my foot in one, the sole was wrinkled and I had to take my foot off and flatten it out. Then I tried to insert my leg again and the same thing happened. I took my foot off, took the sole off and realized the reason it was moving was because it had no glue attaching it to the boot, no no nothing. Assuming it was the right skate, I tried putting my other foot on the other skate and the same thing happened. I try to show you in my photo that there are no marks/stains/slips on either side of the sole. Both soles were simply placed in the skate without attachment. I took glue and made it myself but I think it had to be done in a warehouse. In general there are no complaints.
