Quality control could be improved but otherwise good skates.

I bought these skates for my teenage daughter but they turned out to fit my wife too. So, more opinions! The first thing they noticed upon unboxing was that the stitching on one skate was wobbly. Instead of the bottom cleats facing each other directly, one side was much higher than the skate. However, by the time the eyes got to the top, they had leveled off. (Note that this was only on one skate. The other looked fine.) However, this oddity didn't seem to affect the way they wore the skates…

comfortable, true to size, smooth ride

I really like these skates for many reasons. I only have one small complaint which I easily eliminated myself. They sit perfectly on the foot. They lace up nice and tight and the laces are long enough to wrap around the ankles and back in the front. Mine is just above the ankle. The maximum time I've worn them is 1 1/2 hours at which point they were still comfortable. I like that they are faux leather and not dead animals. I have some trouble laying the tongue flat and have to fiddle with it…

A fun way to have fun outdoors, but not the best choice for beginners. (Details below)

I've wanted a pair of ATV skates for a long time, so I was glad I got them in exchange for my honest review of Vine. Feetcity women's inline skates were $78.99 when I ordered them. Ice skates are good, but they're not the best choice for beginners who are still learning the basics for a number of reasons (see below).
