It actually worked much better than I imagined.

I had the idea of adding a fast link to my 2011 Crown Vic P7B. Assuming I don't have to cut or drill anything to do it. I don't want to poke holes in my car anymore anyway. Simply use a pre-drilled hole in the pusher and two cables run straight through one of the honeycomb holes in the grille. One day at lunch I was grabbing a sandwich in a small parking lot and as I was getting out a guy came up to me and asked if I could jump. Given that victims are inches away from any expedition or field trip, I really didn't have much room to work. I was hoping the guy I was about to hop on had a long cord, luckily he did; I only had the standard cable just in case, but I don't think it's longer than 5ft. It came with a very long cord and some accessories. So jumping or jumping to the side of the highway would really help. Or if we don't have enough space. There is some hardware included, although it would be really cool if it had some wider shims for this type of application. Contains only a pair of lock washers, no more than screw heads. Even with the latch turned, it was still the hot dog in the hallway that helped. So I took some washers from what we had at work and got them to work. The hardest part was getting the cables through the tight spaces with my big hands so I could still hide the cables and not make changing the battery more difficult than it already is. It turned out to be much more difficult than I had imagined. Now I'm well prepared if I have to, even in the rain, much faster.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
