This review is in response to Kevin Rose's one star review and concerns from others regarding the tendency for hooks to ride up and fall off the bracket on bikes. Although this is a serious problem, there is a relatively simple fix. I drilled a hole in the post just above the top hook used and installed a removable regular D-shaped locking pin to prevent the arm from moving past the pin. That solves this problem 100%. If two bikes are being transported, a second hole and locking pin may be required depending on how close together the bottom and top hooks are. See photos. With the crawling issue fixed, this is a very sturdy luggage rack that can safely carry two electric bikes.
