Heavy PINE: my feedback

Instructions are great but the stickers leave a sticky residue. It comes with everything you need. The missing stars, I have the SmartStandard track purchased separately. In the instructions of the track it stated to make the holes at about 2 inches below the top edge of the door. The issue is that the door has 2 longgggg screws that come in on the side of the top panel (pre drilled) and the mounting brackets hole per the instructions hit the screws. Secondly, since these are machine made a lot of empty space is found between the edge of the boards and the wood frame but mostly cosmetic as the door is solid and the space is only found on the K frame boards. Not to mentioned some broken lips on the wood from the manufacturing process. Luckily the breakage is only about 4-5 inches of the board and not the full length so it is still able to be assembled.Once fully assembled it is heavy, sturdy, and will not allow a single light through. Also, keeps noise level to a minimum. The wood gaps actually do not take away from the doors charm as it just adds to the authenticity of what a rustic barn door looks like.TIP ***** We installed ours on carpet. So we have a small dip where traffic has been heavy and you can see a gap at the bottom of the door. So we went to the local hardware store and purchased an unfinished pine plank ($3.55) found in the room trim area of the store and added it to the bottom of the door to fill in the gap. It actually looks very nice.
