I would rate this model as reasonable. In appearance it is not ideal for an OEM part. This part is painted matte black while the original part looks like carbon fiber. It also doesn't sit tight in the opening. There is a 1/16 inch gap at the bottom that the original part did not have. But maybe these are just minor complaints. It fits my 2011 Xterra, holds my new radio great and was easy to install. Installation is as simple as removing a few screws from the OEM parts and screwing them back into the part. I first attempted to reuse the OEM part's metal side brackets to mount the radio unit to this part, but the mounting holes on the sides of these brackets did not match my new radio. So I ended up using the plastic side brackets that came with this part to mount the radio. They worked well and seemed solid enough once everything was bolted on.
