So I thought I'd like them. The problem is that you can move them by slamming a window on them. I placed them so I could open the window about 12 inches. Enough for a night breeze, but no "bad guy". Unfortunately, the villain was able to close it a little, gain momentum and smash it into locks. If you do this a few times they will slide up, enough to 100% eliminate the reason for my use. I even use three on a window, I can still hack! So you say, why don't you just tighten them up, man. Well, let me tell you. I tighten them all the time. So much so that I ate the screws on the black plastic. You can't tighten them enough to keep them from slipping. It is best to drill holes in the window seals where you will attach them. So you will NOT slip. But now we are not using them for their intended purpose. A star. I am sorry. In their defense, if someone wants to hack, they need to make more noise by bringing it up. It would wake up my BARK III, an alarm for sure.
