We put them in so we can control the elements in the trailer that move while driving. We used small screws to secure them in closets, closets, and on the bottom of a slide. I made special belts out of 1" grosgrain ribbon. After 300 miles these items hadn't moved and the mounts were still securely in place. We ordered another pack for the remaining cabinets that we like to keep with stuff when we park I don't know how they work with heavier loads like the bed of a truck, but they are perfect for the way we used them.
