It takes a lot of time and effort to find the right spam/malware free software to make this thing work without regional restrictions. Once you have everything installed and tested everything will work fine. Runs fairly quiet for an external drive and can switch from device to device. The seller/manufacturer contacted me and helped me with this item, so thanks for that. I can only testify that this version will play the Japanese versions, I don't know others because I don't have any versions other than US and JAPAN.
