Review on 🍜 Hicook Stainless Steel Spaetzle Maker: Authentic German Egg Noodle Pan with Lid, Scraper, and Spaghetti Strainer by Josh Schaefer

This is a well built unit, very durable. Is my complaint unique? I tried to make spaetzle out of it. When I placed the spaetzle on a kettle of boiling water (perfect by the way!), the steam escaping from the little holes burned my hand. With other spaetzle makers, steam can escape at the edges, this created and pressed it out of the holes. As the steam built up, he cooked the spaetzle before I could push them through and gave me a large wad of partially cooked dough on top that couldn't get through the holes. This is not very suitable for real spaetzle. However, it will make an excellent sieve! This is a really solid and strong item that will last a long time.
