I have two Ender 3 v2 printers with Capricorn PTFE tubing installed. The tolerances on this thread are too loose to ensure it will not bind in the pipe. Let me explain a little. While some people have complained of terrible rattling and sticking, I haven't even gotten to that point. I started a fresh roll and a decently long 12 hour print for testing purposes. After about 3.5 hours, the extruder stalled and the filament began to be ejected between the extruder body and the idler bearing. I thought I had a clogged nozzle problem, but it was clear. Upon further inspection, it became pretty clear to me that the filament was too wide for the PTFE tubing that the filament runs through to the hotend. I found that a bit strange as this has never happened to me before. After a bit of disassembly I was able to remove the offending PLA links and try again, this took maybe another four hours and it happened again. My 12 hour imprint turned into a 20 hour imprint as I had to stop the car several times and one day I couldn't save the imprint in time. I don't necessarily find this "unacceptable", but for my setup and printers, using PLA unattended made it unreliable. Most similarly priced filaments can offer better tolerances, so my particular problem doesn't arise. So my advice would be if you have a Capricorn tube system in your printer, either skip this product or keep a close eye on it when printing. I will no longer try this thread on my Capricorn tube machines.
