I don't usually write reviews, I didn't get paid and nothing came for free. I just needed a generator. I'm not a pro and can't speak to the internals yet, but I've changed a lot of alternators and this one seems top notch. Ordered Wednesday evening, arrived Friday morning. If anything, it seems heavier than the original. Looks like the picture, the case is strong, new. The idler pulley is better than the original with large side rails. All of this is clearly new (as advertised) and not refurbished. Fits perfectly and delivers stable 15v. No motherboard, free shipping with Prime and cheaper than a rebuilt Econo model at an auto parts store. I'm really very impressed. If you can afford to wait a day or two I would definitely recommend trying one of these DB Electrical alternators.
