Review on Fumoto Original F106S Engine Oil Drain Valve with LC-10 Lever Clip - FS-Series, 1 Pack by Keith Saywon

Fumoto will be on every car in the future.

I put one on my wife's Subaru but as my truck is older and will probably be sold next year I didn't think it was worth the money. But when the plug got damaged trying to remove it for an oil change, I bought it for my 06 Ridgeline. Fumoto's website says you will most likely need a long extension, and for my early 2006 Ridgeline this is indeed the case. I'm looking forward to the next oil change on both machines. With a short nipple, you can simply put a piece of hose over the short end and let it drain. I couldn't find the latch on the hose fitting until I was done. Even holding the hose in place, not a drop was missed. I pour it into a gallon pitcher with a visible stripe down the side. Put three liters in the jug and turn off the tap. Place the hose on a paper towel and drain the first half into the large keg I have. Repeat for the second half. No drips on the garage floor. That's why every car or truck I have in the future will have a fumoto.
