Review on 🔧 Lubelocker LLT-A042 Automotive Gasket for Enhanced Lubrication by Mark Raj

Purchased for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 42RLE transmission. I did a transfer service; filter and liquid. This Lubelocker Pad fits perfectly. The hardest part of the job was removing the old RTV from the transmission pan. I used a wire wheel on my bench grinder. Luckily, the factory RTV didn't stick to the machined aluminum drivetrain surface, so little to no cleaning was required. I've been a shade tree mechanic for about 35 years. I like to save money when possible, but it was worth it; $26 vs $8 for an RTV tube. No messing around with a dirty RTV. I installed it with the factory torque specifications. There are no leaks yet. My only issue was that the torque sequence chart on the box is a mirror image of what you're looking at under the car. Strange. You'll see what I mean when you buy this. Regardless, I highly recommend this product. It works as advertised.
