🔧 Lubelocker LLT-A042 Automotive Gasket for Enhanced Lubrication Review

The transmission fluid on my 2005 Jeep Liberty was previously changed by a 'professional' and extensively silicone treated to ensure a tight seal. Purchased for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler X with 42RLE transmission. I did a transfer service; filter and liquid. This Lubelocker Pad fits perfectly. The hardest part of the job was removing the old RTV from the transmission pan. I used a wire wheel on my bench grinder. Luckily, the factory RTV didn't stick to the machined aluminum drivetrain surface, so little to no cleaning was required. I've been a shade tree mechanic for about 35 years. Wow I love this pad. I was looking for a regular transmission pan gasket as I was planning to do a transmission lube flush and Revain suggested this Lube Locker gasket instead of the regular paper gasket. After spending a few minutes reading positive reviews on Revain and other Jeep forums, I am tempted to buy this gasket.
