This Freud Quadra-Cut is without a doubt the best circular cutter I have ever used. My shop has CMT beats (great too), Freud, Craftsman, Jointech, Jesada and a few others. Pros: While none of my bits experience vibration, this one is the quietest of them all. It's safer to use. because it's so sharp it takes a lot less effort to move the workpiece than my other bits, so I'm always in full control. The vacuum port on my fence is small (1-5/8 inch) and sometimes gets clogged with splinters etc when using other bits. With Freud, the chips are the same size, and this nozzle hasn't rattled or splintered yet, even when I go through the knot; Chips easily pass through the dust collector. Freud has become my favorite supplier of attachments (and saw blades too). I firmly believe that Quadra-Cut bits are what routers were always meant for. The bearings on all my Freud cutters are higher quality than most other suppliers. The product is not a quadra cut bit (as of this writing) but the bit I received is a quadra cut bit. I just hope there is no future confusion as I noticed a carpenter said he received the drill shown in the picture when he ordered the Quadra-Cut as described,β Nuff said. Definitely recommended.
