Does the job well

I have several rounding bits (Amana and CMT) but I was looking for one that could give a clean chip free cut for the guitar bodies I make. I thought Quadra-Cut would be the answer. The problem is that I only need the rounded part of the cutters and there are only two cutters on the bit that do the rounding. The square cutters only come into play when you start cutting the opening. So for the purposes I wanted to use, the two extra cutters made no difference. The cut he made was as good as Amana

Excellent round nozzle, unable to work with beads.

I have a 34-124 square cut drill with rounded edges and actually 4 blades which does a great job if you just round but aren't great for beading. operations. As mentioned in previous comments, the Quadra 34-124 round die cannot do the job of edge trimming in its purest form. Freud's website for the 34-124 milling head "For beadwork, equip bits with Freud's 62-102 bearing and 62-311 step wheel." 62-311 step wheel has a 3/16 inch ID. which obviously doesn't fit the 34-124 1/4" pin so the rounded…

Carpenters, you have to try this.

This Freud Quadra-Cut is without a doubt the best circular cutter I have ever used. My shop has CMT beats (great too), Freud, Craftsman, Jointech, Jesada and a few others. Pros: While none of my bits experience vibration, this one is the quietest of them all. It's safer to use. because it's so sharp it takes a lot less effort to move the workpiece than my other bits, so I'm always in full control. The vacuum port on my fence is small (1-5/8 inch) and sometimes gets clogged with splinters etc…
