It looks like other buyers bought it for the aesthetic value, not to create wind turbulence. I bought 32 of these liners for my 37ft RV to withstand the nose pressure of semi-trailers passing me at over 70mph. I usually drive about 5 km/h slower than the top speed. These are high quality Air Tab clones. Yes, they are rubber and imitate carbon fiber. Some of them will be a little flattened or not perfectly straight, but you know what? They are rubber! This allows you to easily slide the self-adhesive backing directly on your rig after attaching it to the bar on the stick. The price is around $16 for 8, which is more than half the cost of Airtabs to save money. My installation suggestion is as follows, as many RV residents know that surface preparation is crucial here. Wipe the base of each inlay with mineral spirits or rubbing alcohol WITH NO ammonia. This will clean each base before sticking the self-adhesive backing on. You have a chance to apply the adhesive backing to each tab, so start on the wide side (the front, btw) and, like applying a phone screen protector, slowly start applying the adhesive. Press each tab firmly for about 20 seconds to ensure a secure connection. Then clean the application area with a similar solvent and apply approximately 2.5 cm (0.75 inch, according to Airtabs) on the passing side of your vehicle as this is the side subject to the greatest pressure from passing vehicles such as semi-trailers and closed vehicles is suspended trucks. I'm going to test them out tomorrow on a 4 hour east coast hike. I'll post more as soon as I check them out on the street. They are almost identical to Aerotobs, which are much more expensive.
