2 stars for poor quality and unacceptable port design. In my work with robotics students I use a lot of pneumatic cylinders. For pandemic related distance learning I needed one for training purposes and this was very cheap and I just ordered it for demo purposes. It works most of the time and mine comes with three different pairs of quick disconnects including a 1/4" size that fits the hoses I have on hand. So for my purposes it will do. BUT. I wouldn't use that for a use real project 1: The 5mm ports are sealed with o-rings, which is common on these tiny, non-tapered threads, but there must be a machined flat surface to seal the o-ring in. Since they don't were there they were letting air through the threads This is just plain wrong and encourages people to over tighten which causes the fitting to crack 2: Piston feels rough and does not move smoothly throughout full stroke. This doesn't bode well for piston seal integrity For about double the price you get a much higher quality product that will hold air pressure.
