I was very surprised by these coasters. First I looked at absorbent stone coasters for hot days when drinks start to sweat. These coasters can cost up to $40 for four, and I didn't want that. When I saw them I was intrigued and my first question was if they were made out of tightly tied rope would they be uneven? I immediately asked the Revain community who had bought previously and they all came right back saying they were very blown away. I had my doubts about so many rave reviews that I decided to try them for a low price. You are absolutely gorgeous! It comes in three colors: dark charcoal gray, light gray that's lighter than heather gray, and a variety of seafoam green. I don't have green with my house but figured for the price I'd give it another try. The first thing I noticed when I opened them was that not all coasters are the same size. If it bothers you because of the folding, then maybe they bother you a little, but it doesn't affect them. They are larger than your average coasters. I have shown standard size round coasters in one of my photos and you can see how much larger they are. I've tried them with a coffee to go, a standard coffee mug, a 32-ounce stainless steel Yeti glass, a large wine glass, a small vodka glass, a cup of tea, and just a standard pilsner glass. In all cases they sit exactly and don't wobble, which really shocked me. A lot of people have told me that they are flat and fit their glasses well, but it's hard to believe. Believe it! You can certainly use this with a tall, thin glass, but you can be careful with a very thin glass, like a champagne flute. But other than that there is a lot of use out of them and if you put wet glass in it it absorbs straight away and I could see that they are very easy to hand wash and lay flat to dry. I wouldn't put them in the washer or dryer or you'll probably ruin them because of the stitching. It's very safe, but I would only hand wash something like this if needed. This is great value for money, I will be buying another set and maybe one for a gift. My only caveat is that if you have a Yeti glass or a glass with epoxy, that is if it doesn't sit flat and doesn't wobble at all, it will be on these coasters. However, this is because the vessel is not entirely flat, and not on the stand. If they were all the same size they would be a full 5 stars but still worth buying!
