This is a simple molded plastic mount that uses a standard broomstick (again, the pole is provided by you) or something similar with a threaded end. You put this attachment on a pole and it has two purposes: 1. scraper and 2. pusher. You scrape with the end of the scraper, and there is also a kind of "lever" on this attachment with which you "push" the sheets between the supports. So the goal is to gradually pull the leaves that are away from you closer to you so that you can remove them manually. That's all. It works, well, but it's not a magical tool that we've all missed in our gutter cleaning endeavors. It still lets in a lot of soot coming off the roof, as it's difficult to really press on it when it's too far away. The head size allows it to fit in most gutters as it is small. You'll find yourself spending a little time cleaning up with this, but it works well enough.
