I could not find this material locally. I have a house from the late 1800's with original windows. The flimsy material that came with my window air conditioners wasn't thick enough to seal the gaps in my windows with the air conditioner installed. This stuff does the job. To make it a little more airtight I wrapped it in clear kitchen plastic wrap, but that's just me. I bought a few of these because they get harder to find every time I need them. This material is locally produced, and a few years ago I even spent a fun few summer months working out at a factory in Avon, Ohio, packaging weather protection products. A good thing.
