I got very excited when I saw this stainless steel paper shredder. Disappointment at first attempt to chop the onion. Half of the onion doesn't fit in, so I cut it into quarters. They came out beautiful. Then I tried pepper. Half of the peppers don't fit, I had to cut them into chunks to fit the cutting grid. If you're not precise, you'll end up with pieces of peppers stuck in the net. The radishes came out in nice little sticks but the pieces ended up in the mesh, although the center mesh was used to remove the stuck pieces. The garlic came out in sticks and had to be chopped up with a knife to get the right size. But the cleaning was the worst. But no matter how hard you try, pieces of vegetables will slip between the cutting grid and into the plastic grid. I cleaned immediately after use so nothing stuck. I've tried removing it with a strong brush but with little success. I ended up digging them up with a sharp knife and decided to return this product. I spent more time cleaning the chopper than chopping veggies with a knife. In addition, changing the grid is time-consuming and impractical. Really disappointing. I'm sending it back today.
