This light was a great sub for the "boob light”. Looks expensive, gives off great light and was easy to install. The remote is a nice feature to be able to change the hue of the light and/or dim if needed - however, you will need to keep the main light switch on and use the remote to turn on and off the light if you want to keep the settings you just used for the light. Meaning, if you turned the switch on the wall off at any point, the light will return to the brightest and lightest color and hue so you have to use the remote to change it again. Only downside. We have it in our guest room and it looks very clean.
