It was worth it! for cleaning tools

I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase. I've bought other Magic Eraser fakes from Revain (this is the third time I've bought them and each time from a different source) and they're my favorites so far. They are thick and the quality is comparable to the real Magic Eraser brand but at a fraction of the price. To be honest I only see 2 differences between Mr Clean's Magic Erasers and these: 1) Mr Clean's Magic Erasers are wavy. design on its surface. This is for aesthetic rather than functional purposes. That doesn't make them work any better. 2) Mr Clean Magic erasers are expensive. These fakes are affordable. I live in Seattle, WA and we pay $6.99 for a box of 9 pads at Target. This equates to roughly $0.78 per plus or minus pad. I bought them here for $12.99 for 50 pads which is $0.26 per pad. In terms of size they are very similar and in fact THEY ARE THICKER THAN THE MAGIC MR CLEAN ERASER! Dimensions of the Mr Clean Original Pads = 11.7 cm x 5.9 cm x 2.6 cm These pads have the dimensions = 10 cm x 7 cm x 3 cm, so they are not as long, but wider and thicker! I've read reviews of people complaining that they wear out too quickly. I call the brand bs and they are made from ONE INGREDIENT: melamine resin foam. Yes, they break after use, but they're also expensive. This is because it contains melamine, an organic base with a high nitrogen content. In foam form, melamine is a great abrasive, but because it's so liquid it's not indestructible and will begin to degrade with use. My point is that they last as long as they should and wear because of their chemistry, not poor quality. I hope all of my research helps you decide whether or not you want to take the risk of buying them. The parallel comparison makes this pretty easy in my opinion.

Pros
  • USE ONLY WATER - say goodbye to abrasive and corrosive chemicals. With a little water, melamine foam can absorb and remove stains that other products cannot.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
