If you're the type of person who spends all day comparing and comparing to decide which lens to buy, stop. I already did it for you According to DXOmark, a camera and lens testing website, the 25mm f1.4 is scientifically ranked #3 for the Micro 4/3 format. It costs just under the Olympus 75mm f1.8 (costs $400 more) and the Panasonic Leica 42.5mm f1.2 (costs $1,000 more). Science is not enough to buy it? How about example photos of what people have done with this lens? Search for the Panasonic/Leica DG SUMMILUX 25mm F1.4 ASPH Micro Four Thirds on flickr and you will find a group dedicated to photos taken with this lens. The above was the reason why I decided to buy this lens, but personally how do I like it now? This is a truly fantastic lens that made me forget I was shooting in the micro 4/3 format which usually struggles to get a shallow depth of field. Build quality is excellent, the case is plastic but doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The only problem I have right now is that I hate the other lenses I already have.
