Good quality brackets - supplied screws do not fit Aluminum
Brackets appear to be of good quality. I started connecting them to my rods (rather thick aluminum). I drilled a very small pilot hole for the screws. They are self-tapping. The head of the self-tapping screw seems to be too big, so the screws don't hook strongly when screwed in. The screws only turn once tightened and do not hold the mount in place. I'll have to buy bigger (non-self-tapping) screws and try to attach them. The project is on hold until I find new screws. I'll report as soon as I do that.
