I've been using my dash mounted phone for navigation for a while, but one thing bothers me especially in summer: the phone gets very hot after a short time because of the heat it gives off and the sun scorching it. So I wanted to try a vent mount that would allow the cold air from the air conditioner to cool my phone. I need to mount it on the grate as shown in the photos. If I set it lower, it's too close to the turn signal lever. The clips are filled with foam so they don't scratch the air vent. After installation, the grille cannot be adjusted, so I adjusted the grille to the desired position before installing. Once installed, it's pretty secure. Bumpy rides haven't set him free yet. When the air conditioner is on, cold air will blow on the back of the phone and now the phone will cool down. Basically, this solved my phone's overheating problem when used for navigation.
