Review on Spectre 9970 Intake Ford F150 by Shane Sanchez

Just got and installed 9970-Spectre for my 2009 F150 Platinum 5.4L. It fits perfectly and works much better, no more flat spots (stumbles) from the gas pedal when accelerating, sounds very good too. The clips fit perfectly, work perfectly, don't know why some have complained about them, these are great clips, perfect width and length, no problem! I have a K&N plastic tube on my Tahoe, compared to K&N it sucks. In the past, K&N has bled air around the intake manifold junction, the plastic tube appeared to change shape concave inward. I had to fill the gap with Permatex and let it dry. Ford drove, tested newly installed (9970 Spectre), came home, popped the hood, put my hand on the aluminum tube, it was warm but not hot at all, also today 90 degrees K&N plastic junk on the Tahoe is always warm, maybe even warmer than them Specter aluminum tubes currently installed at Ford. In the end very satisfied, well made, perfect fit, no problem, I will definitely buy again! It's also significantly cheaper than K&N and the others who are grossly overpriced, which is ridiculous considering they really want $$$ for it.
