I bought this set for $20 to drill holes for 6" downlights with no glass. Blanket, but after the second hole it dulled and worked its way through the rest of the holes. After 20 holes I gave up and went to the hardware store and bought a "bi-metal" 6" hole saw for $40 (double the price). He drilled the next 30 holes AND 16 holes in the living room ceiling using a pine tongue ( 1/2 inch) above the drywall and STILL sharp and well drilled.Carbide teeth, also for drywall.
