Watch out for custom sizing

I ordered this coat for my boxer, she is 32" chest and says she will wear BIG in this coat. Well it arrived today and it's LG and it's 4 inches longer than her body length and is MUCH taller in everything else. I'm returning it for a refund as I don't know if the next size down will fit her, it says it fits up to a 27" bust which would be small around her chest but don't want to mess with an exchange.
