I ordered this coat for my boxer, she is 32" chest and says she will wear BIG in this coat. Well it arrived today and it's LG and it's 4 inches longer than her body length and is MUCH taller in everything else. I'm returning it for a refund as I don't know if the next size down will fit her, it says it fits up to a 27" bust which would be small around her chest but don't want to mess with an exchange. Love it, this jacket fits my Shih Tzu perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the size. I had to buy her an extra small size which she usually wears in most doggy outfits. I looked at the size chart, she's almost 16 inches in the chest, so I ordered a small one. It was too long and very baggy in the chest no matter how I tightened it. VERY disappointed! I have a 12 lb dachshund mix - measured by the chart and ordered small. The fabric makes a very hard-wearing and well-made impression. Fits my dog perfectly in both length and girth. The problem is that her legs get stuck in her neck hole and she stumbles.
