I bought this to zoom with my DSLR on a computer that boots Linux and Windows at the same time. From the side of the windows the picture is perfect and everything works fine. 10/10 It's a pain on the Linux side. This only works when installing drivers that need to be reinstalled every time you update the kernel. The software freezes. I got lame (low res) but eventually gave up. I only use a regular webcam when using Linux. I'm not familiar enough with technical reasons, but I wish hardware vendors like this would build their drivers into the Linux kernel to make things work.
