I' have several Tried other inexpensive 1/8" aluminum cutting bits and this one is by far the best. I was only able to cut a 3/8" plate using the simple notching method. I ran the spindle at 10000rpm, 300mm/min feed (could probably be a lot faster) and 1mm DOC. For these cuts a proper is Chip evacuation very important I don't have a proper blower yet so I just used a photo fan which helped a lot Make sure the shortest part of the bit is sticking out of the spindle Finally make sure you are doing some sort of spiral cutting use, straight dip does not work with AL.
