This was the perfect starter replacement for my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400. The starter is held on with two bolts. A screw is easily accessible. The other is hidden where it is not visible. You can only get an open-end wrench, which is very tight, unless you want to disassemble the entire clutch housing. But with a little effort it is doable. Starter and Bendix work great!
