Works with coconut milk but takes much less time

SHORT VERSION This is a review for those trying vegan hacks. Coconut milk works (I bought Good & Gather organic coconut milk from Target and it's more like delicious cream than milk), but it only takes 8-10 minutes depending on how you roll or kick it. Remember to open the side of the ice cream halfway and use a sturdy spatula or flat wooden spoon with a wedge to scrape down the sides and blend the frozen sides into the more liquid center. Otherwise you will end up with hard coconut ice cream and have to wait for it to melt. Anyone else making ice cream or fruit juice sorbets please share their tips and recipes. You can use kosher rock salt. Just add 1/4 cup i.e. 3/4 cup per batch instead of 1/2 cup regular ice cream salt. ALL ITEMS are blue pint size. Small note: this doesn't look anything like the light blue you see in the photo. It's more turquoise. A minor thing, but it's annoying because in the photo it looks like the color of my three favorite teams Manchester City, UCLA and Hoka. I was planning on taking this thing to watch parties and in between making ice cream and debriefings. 10 mins. I will update this review after further experimentation including dairy. A friend of mine who loves classic ice cream with traditional flavors got an orange quart and we'll be playing with it in a couple of weeks.
