This part is relatively easy to assemble. Unscrewing and removing the door panel and reinstalling it is the hardest part. The rest just needs patience. This took about 30 minutes or so. You will likely need painter's tape to cover the window while you attach and screw in the device. My 2000 Camry's window was stuck - wouldn't go all the way up and down. It was probably just the motor, but buying the entire kit made more sense to me. It has worked flawlessly since installation. I would recommend this part to anyone who needs it including a friend. By the way, in my case I also had to replace the door/window switches and the automatic door lock. The driver's side window switch was even simpler than this part and I found it reasonably priced here at Revain. It was much more difficult with the automatic door locking on the driver's side. I ended up needing the help of a mechanic to complete the job. I'm not saying you can't, but don't be surprised if it turns out to be harder than you imagined.
